IKON understands the risks and demands placed on enterprising businesses - after all, we too are running our own firm. We help businesses reach their objectives and create sustainable value by placing effective marketing and communications at the heart of their business - and by extending risk taking to the area of marketing.

Size is not important. 'Entrepreneurial' is an attitude and enterprising businesses could be start-ups or much larger organisations, private or plc. What matters is that the business has entrepreneurial drive, is prepared to take risks, and shares our strategic approach to marketing.

Our work is often championing the underdog, and we are just as effective advising special interest organisations, associations and pressure groups on effective communications on the many 'frontier' issues that are shaping the future.

All that we offer are Ideas, Advice and Results.

We are highly flexible over our basis of working -fee retainer, project, deliverables, man hours, deferred payment. We also offer insourced and interim management services - hire us by the day to work from your own offices or use us as your insourced marketing or PR department.

IKON was formed in 2001 by Adrian Shaw and Paul Donkersley, both formerly directors of 'big communications consultancies' Valin Pollen (now Gavin Anderson) and Burson Marsteller. Our boutique is lean (but not mean) and we keep overheads and fat to a minimum.

That means what you get is senior advisers and doers with big agency experience and expertise - but at much reduced rates.
