To help Enterprise Inns establish itself as a sustainable and attractive pub operator in the less attractive tenancy segment of the market as opposed to the more popular and trusted managed house segment.

Considerable time, planning and effort was spent in establishing which were the attributes to success. A programme of regular news flow, backed by the strong discipline of consistency of message across the business to all its audiences, helped Enterprise Inns achieve the reputation of being one of the most highly respected and successful operators across the UK with an estate that had grown to over 5,000 pubs.
