2004 ENTREPRENEURS/FREELANCE XMAS LUNCH
The annual bash is definitely on, for the Friday 17th December, 2004.
Venue: Kettners (Private Room), Romilly Street, Soho
Time: sit-down 1.30pm; drinks in the bar downstairs from 12noon.
Cost: Fixed price menu, payable in advance. Total of £57 includes special Xmas menu at £38, bottle of wine each at £16, bottle of water each at £3. If you do not drink alcohol, price is £41. Prices include VAT but do not include service. I have asked Kettners to not add service to my final bill - instead, people can/should(?) pay 'optional' service individually after the meal.

The minimum booking is for 30 people, the room can hold 40 people (up to 50 at a squeeze). So there is still room - please invite your friends, contacts, clients who fit into the criteria of working for themselves, freelance, running their own business.

If you want to pay directly into my bank account, that's possible, but you will have to call me to get my bank details (I don't give them out over the Internet). Please send this payment as soon as possible.
Xmas Presents: You are all asked to bring a gift-wrapped present. These will be distributed among everyone after the meal. Your present need not be expensive or serious, but should meet one of these two criteria:
- something to do with your own business; what you make, sell or just something that obliquely or amusingly indicates what you do
- something that made someone else a million
Menu - choice of three dishes for each course:

Starter - Soup du Jour Served with Dough Balls or Duck Liver Pate with Apricots & Apricot Brandy Served with toasted bread & crispy salad or Scotch Smoked Salmon Served with buttered brown bread

Main Course - Roast Turkey Served with chestnut & sage stuffing & seasonal vegetables or Trout Almonde - Whole trout baked with toasted almonds Served with seasonal vegetables

Vegetarian Alternative - Vegetable parcels,Deep fried pastry parcels filled with seasonal vegetables and gorgonzola cheese, served with a pepperonata accompaniment.

Dessert - Traditional Christmas Pudding Served with Brandy sauce or Lemon Polenta Cake with warmed seasonal berries and mascapone.
